少なくとも人間関係という事において、人間集団ではなく人間一般を考えるとはそういう事だ。その歴史の中で、人々は長年掛けて多大な犠牲を払いながら、自由の象徴としてアメリカという国を作った。だから、あの国は、人々の希望として、滅びるには至らぬのである。

「嘘しか吐かない他者」をヴィランと見做す事は確かに可能である。その事自体にこちらが気付いたらば彼は去っていくだろうが、人間関係ひいては社会や世界といったものを一歩自己から乖離させたスタンスで鑑みるという哲学的態度を彼から学ぶ機会を彼は与えてくれるだろう。

イギリスはアメリカのイランへの攻撃に参画を表明しているが、彼らがイランを焼いて、例えば何らかの形で第三国から核が飛んでも、彼らはあまり気に留めまい。私はその限りではないが、人々はそれを気に留める間も無く死に至らしめられるだろう。

ロシア高官が、関係国はイランに核を供給する用意が在る、と。プーチン露大統領曰く「モスクワはテヘランを見捨てない」。イラン上層部にはハメネイ師を排除する意向の動き有り。アメリカからの潜在的そして表層的な圧力も有るだろう。
